We are hiring this position for a start-up high-tech innovation company, their mission is to turn our planet a greener society by develop innovative high efficient process and technology to convert carbon dioxide to into chemicals and fuels.
Our client builds high-performance carbon capture and electrolysis technologies that convert carbon dioxide (CO2) into the world’s most widely used renewable feedstocks, fuels, and commodity chemicals.
Location: San Francisco bay
Salary Package: negotiable depends profile + Stock-options-Actions -(rétention/Bonus plan)
II. Job General scope:
Our client is looking for a Senior Market/Business development Manager Carbon Capture and Utilization to lead Market analysis and business development while looking for new partnerships, new market/Customer acquisition.
The candidate should be a mission-driven, highly technical profile with strong expertise in process/project engineering and in the field of electrolysis and/or CO2 capture and separation and have additional business experience in the chemical and/or CCUS industry.
To be successful, the candidate should have a 'no-problem-too-big' attitude and be highly resourceful. He/ She should also be highly knowledgeable in industrialization standards, the chemical industry, have a great experience in prototyping and relations with suppliers/engineering contractors.
Finally, He/ She should take the initiative to establish long-term relationships with customers and partners.
This position reports to the CEO
III. Main achievements/Missions/Objectives:
- Excellent knowledge of the chemical industry – specific knowledge in C1-C3 (carbon monoxide, syngas, ethylene, ethanol) is a plus.
- Experiences in CCUS is desired(carbon capture utilization and storage).
- Market analysis/– High proficiency and appetence for techno-economic analysis to inform go-to-market strategy
- Perform Product positioning and competitive analysis
- Business development - Follow pipeline/Lead opportunities – Explore new market opportunities.
- High appetence in business development. Strong hunting approach to open R&D/Innovation doors. “First seller” assessing and promoting market responsiveness for new Carbon Capture solutions.
- Capacity to identify industrial customers’ needs and express them as product feature requirements - Support to R&D/Product development to answer market needs and take new products to market.
- Take responsibility for the product safety and its compliance with norms for on-site integration
- Ensure customer feedback integration for future product/project development

V. Qualification requirements:
- PhD Technical/engineering degree
- Expertise in methods and tools for process engineering
- 7-10 years’ experience in industrial projects, with a great knowledge of CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilization Storage) and sustainable fuels and chemicals
- Network in the engineering ecosystem
- Leadership, influent management, ambition/commitment - Irreproachable work ethic.
- English Must, any other Language will be appreciated
- Frequent traveling Globally.
