Salary -55k basic

Location - London - Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office

ROLE - My client is looking for a Senior NOC Engineer to join their Network Operations Centre team which is responsible for monitoring their SaaS network infrastructure, ensuring it runs efficiently, delivering the high availability of products.

You will be expected to take the lead in troubleshooting the various situations that may arise and provide technical support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a wide and varied skill set, but does require IP networking experience.

Key Skills & Attributes Must have :

Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues with a logical and systematic approach

Willingness to work outside of normal hours and frequently travel to remote sites

Ability to take ownership of unfamiliar tasks, utilising the experience within the team to complete with quality

An excellent working knowledge of IP, Ethernet, routing and switching within LAN/WAN/Data Centre/Public Cloud environments is also essential

Previous experience working within an SLA driven environment

VMWare exposure. 5.5 > 7.0

Linux administration experience (Centos)

Windows server administration experience

Relevant further or higher education certificates

Driving license

Nice to have

Knowledge of TDM/SS7 & SIP Interconnects. Telecom experience

CCNA or equivalent qualification. Relevant Degree ? AWS Experience
