Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations including receipts, issues, and stock transfers.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and audits.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and spares to meet production schedules.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams for smooth material flow.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports using SAP & Excel for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements for material handling.
- Implement best practices in inventory control, storage, and warehouse management.
- Track and reduce non-moving/slow-moving stock and optimize storage space.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in store operations and inventory accuracy.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of SAP (MM Module) and MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Reporting).
- Sound understanding of inventory management principles in manufacturing/automotive industry.
- Familiarity with steel, metal, or auto components industry processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
Requirements
- Graduate / Diploma in any discipline.
- 3–4+ years of experience in inventory/store management, preferably in automotive / steel / metal / component manufacturing industry.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period will be preferred.
