Our client a leading international marine engineering industry specialize in marine repair, maintenance, engineering support looking for a Senior Planner/Planning Manager, must have experience of construction planning in Maritime industry. Proficiency in Primavera P-6 is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible activities/production planning schedules to control work flow, including Forecasting, Order Promising, MRP, Master Data, Engineering Change, Management, and Inventory Turns.
2. Creating, using and maintaining plant history to develop future maintenance requirements for equipment, forecasting operational impacts and cost projections.
3. Developing specific maintenance plans for various equipment and mechanical resources.
4. Coordinating reports from maintenance technicians and using information to develop system-wide and location and/or equipment maintenance plans.
5. Preparing work plans based on logical sequencing of events and associated tasks.
6. Conducting site inspections to determine maintenance requirements and scopes of work for specific maintenance projects.
7. Identifying parts, materials, tools, external services and resources -required to undertake successful preventative maintenance and unscheduled repair work.
8. Developing standard maintenance procedures to adhere to regulatory requirements and equipment standards and company policies.
9. Ensuring the ongoing validity of safety permits for sites and/or equipment.
10. Responsible for training and coaching junior planners
11. Ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

Minimum 5+ years experience in production and demand planning.
Experience in using SAP and Excel Macro. Proficient in the use of -Primavera P-6 is a plus.
Minimum 5+ years experience of construction planning in Maritime Construction and/or O&G Offshore/Onshore.
Experience with Project Scheduling including Critical Path Methodology, Productivity Tracking and Earned Value required.
