Senior Plastic Process Engineer

This person will work closely with the manufacturing group and will need strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should thrive in a team environment where customer service and collaboration are important.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing operations.
2. Monitor manufacturing variances so that problem solving, and improvement opportunities are
3. identified.
4. Be part of development, testing and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products that optimize operation, reduce product variability and increase yields.
5. Develop machine specifications, identify and evaluate suppliers, then procure, install and de-bug
6. equipment from outside supplier for general manufacturing and secondary processes.
7. Assist in writing and updating standard operating procedures and other documentations required.
8. Consult or provide technical advice to team members on product and process issues.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or Plastics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology with plastics manufacturing related discipline.
2. Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment, familiarity with polymer manufacturing processes (extrusion, injection molding) and design of plastic products and tooling
3. Fluent English and Hungarian.
4. Drive, problem-solving skills and a passion for engineering.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and establish priorities.
6. Recognized as a technical leader and key resource.
