Job Description

One of our VIP Clients for whom we have worked and successfully placed in Germany, Italy, Romania is now looking for a senior automation process control for flat products from SMS / Primetals in USA market, in particular near Pittsburgh or in Kentucky.

Our candidates may be located in the designated area or successfully relocated from anywhere to work on site on a new great project, for a prestigious multinational Company with HQ in West Europe.

Main focus on area of Continuous Casting (Slab).

Technical Skills

- School University Background: Metallurgical And / Or Chemical Engineer

-    Pc User: Excel Program Knowledge, Level B.

• Previous Technological Office Experience – ideally as Process Engineer for Continuous Casting (Preferably On Slab Caster Field)- At Least 4-5 Years.

Or/And

• Previous On-Site Experience, As Process Supervisor, For Continuous Casting (Preferably On Slab Caster Field): At Least 5 Years.
• Metallurgical Process Knowledge For Continuous Casting Level A
• Caster Equipment Knowledge: Level B.
• Metallurgical Process Up Stream Continuous Caster: Level B.
• Metallurgical Process Down Stream Continuous Caster: Level C.
• Steel Grades: Level B.
• Refractory Material: Level C.

EMGLISH language an absolute must.

Main Activities

• To Define Main Caster Process Parameters
• To Use & Improve Metallurgical Models For Caster Sizing
• To Define Caster Performance Parameters
• To Cooperate With Sales Office During Offer Phase
• To Cooperate With Techical Office During Execution Phase
• To Take Part At Plant Commissioning During Performance Phases To Get Caster Acceptance
• To Take Part To Field Measurement For Continuous Process/Equipment Improvements
