Client description:
A start-up software product company that provides Procurement Management solutions to the Infrastructure industry and has already scaled to an ARR of $ 100+ million, valuation of $ 1 billion and with 300+ employees on last count.
Role details:
- Title: Senior Product Manager
- Reporting to: Head of Product
- Location: Bengaluru
Role & responsibilities:
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap and releases and contribute to the GTM for the products in the Growth vertical, to ensure discovery, onboarding, increasing adoption and business success of retail clients of the platform across the diverse retail ecosystem
- Partner with and build consensus across senior leaders, other product and business in the organization to deliver incredible value to the business
- Work with a team of Designers, Analysts and Engineers to help build the Logistics platform from scratch
- Lead a team of Product Associates or Product Managers to design and build core product offerings
- Ensure that the long-term vision and product roadmaps are adequately strengthened with competitive analysis, market & domain research, user research, user adoption and allied activities to deliver significant business impact and customer delight
- Own end-to-end key product metrics across the fulfilment value chain
Candidate requirements:
- 6-8 years of (preferably B2B / B2B2C) Product Management experience, with Internet startups / Supply Chain organizations / SaaS products or E-commerce companies
- Ability to lead a high performing team of PMs
- Judicious mix of big picture thinking, and data and milestone driven execution focus
- Ability and willingness to be hands-on
- Proven ability to stay updated on market trends related to the domain, technology and latest innovation features consistently and socializing them with stakeholders, resulting in product strategy and road-map revision or realignment, as required
- Ability to think differently to drive product differentiation in the market
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability in working across multiple products, various stakeholder groups and influencing across several teams / functions, leading to successes
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible business impact in time-critical situations
Selection process:
- 30-minute interactive phone call on company Vision, Mission & Roadmap, and its alignment with candidate career aspirations
- 60-minute interview focusing on problem solving and product thinking, with a real-time problem-solving exercise, based on a real or hypothetical case
- Offline assignment for building a Product Roadmap – to be completed within 3 days – based on a hypothetical or a real-world problem.
- 30-minute discussion on culture fit and compensation & benefits expectations
