About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale airport infrastructure project, focused specifically on runway construction. This is a €10–20 million project with full relocation support.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the runway works—from planning and execution to final delivery—while managing contractors, budgets, and timelines on-site in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of runway construction from mobilization to handover
• Manage local contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure runway standards are met
• Ensure strict compliance with aviation authority standards and safety regulations
• Track progress against project timelines and budget
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams
• Conduct regular site visits and solve on-ground issues proactively
• Report project milestones and risks to senior management regularly

Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in large airport infrastructure or runway construction projects
• Proven track record managing construction projects worth €10–20 million
• Strong understanding of airfield grading, asphalt or concrete paving, and quality compliance for aviation works
• Confident managing multi-stakeholder teams and working in international environments
• Willing to relocate and live in Africa’s most stable and modern cities for the project duration
