The team and the project:

The team is responsible for gathering and processing market data from the external vendors. The market data is used for pricing of financial instruments (FX, Equities, Crypto, Derivatives). The clients can trade those products on our internal platform. The project involves low latency systems that process real-time data. There are also pricing components that can compute a fair value of sophisticated financial products. Finally, there are risk applications that control the exposure of the company.

The role:

Due to the importance for the company profits, the system is validated with automated tests as well as manual tests. Working as part of Pricing team you will be responsible for testing of frontend and backend solutions. We are looking for a Senior QA who can handle testing the frontend application and provide ideas of improvements for the creators. You will also be involved with backend testing where the open mind and ability to learn how the financial products works is a must as you will be expected to test our backend services based on the raw data provided by them.

The candidates will be involved in expanding current test case database with ensuring that the adequate test coverage is provided. Assess the impact and risks of new functionality introduced into the system and plan regression testing and/or highlight any potential issues.

The position will involve participation in outside office hours support rota.

Essential requirements:

• English (at least B2)
• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Good knowledge of QA practices and processes
• Ability to test components hosted on virtual environments
• Basic Linux Commands
• Ability to work independently

Nice-to-have requirements:

• Good business/ financial knowledge especially Trading CFDs, spread betting and Forex would be a huge plus
• 3rd line support experience
