We are seeking experienced Senior QA Specialists to join our dynamic team for a critical AWS to GCP migration project. This role involves rigorous testing of data pipelines and data integrity in GCP cloud to ensure seamless reporting and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans to validate data pipelines re-engineered from AWS to GCP, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to understand AVRO, ORC, and Parquet file structures in AWS S3, and analyze the data in external tables created in Athena used for reporting.
• Ensure schema and data in Bigquery match against Athena to support reporting in PowerBI.
• Test and validate Spark pipelines and other big data workflows in GCP.
• Document all test results and work collaboratively with development teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support to UAT business users during UAT testing

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in QA testing within a big data DWBI ecosystem.
• Strong familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with hands-on experience in at least one.
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing solutions like BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, or Snowflake.
• Expertise in testing data pipelines and understanding different file formats like Avro and Parquet.
• Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
