Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
- Prepare plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
- Perform risk analysis evaluations.
- Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs.
- Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
- Provide advice to project team on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
- Review and negotiate project accounts.
- Manage commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts.
- Prepare and manage certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
- Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to a program level.
- Assist in preparation and adherence to program purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
- Assists Cost/Contracts/Finance/Design Managers.
- Contracts Manager in all related duties.
- Assist and supervise the Quantities Surveyor Assistant in evaluation, reporting and KPIs
Person Specification – Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master's degree in civil engineering field from an internationally recognized university and over 15 years' experience in the
specific field gained on similar projects.
Experience in quantity surveying on large-scale construction developments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Excel and CostX.
Fluency in the English and Arabic language is mandatory.
