Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the development infrastructure and environments;
• Perform deployment of changes to production
• Create and/or integrate systems, utilities, and scripts to automate deployment and monitoring of builds and environments;
• Work within software development projects as a Senior Reliability Engineer to support our existing API Management Platform.
• Bring your experience to actively help to increase the stability and reliability of the developed solutions, identify and fix bugs.
• Use your experience as a Senior Reliability Engineer to evaluate and ensure that the API Platform can be operated flawlessly, even under high load scenarios such as more 20 million transaction per day.
• Act as a contact person for service engineers supporting them to onboard into the platform
• Solve production incidents in a timely manner, involving other support teams and other colleagues
• Be involved in 24/7 on-call activity (L2 Support)
• Liaises with IaaS and PaaS service provides within the Bank to enhance their offerings;
• Deliver training sessions for other development teams and promote an efficient transfer of know-how.
• Work on a platform that is deeply integrated into the bank's key applications and relevant to the Bank's reputation.

Skills:

Must have:

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence, and initiative.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure and platform components including but not limited to Linux / Unix Operating Systems; Shell / Python Scripting; Oracle / MySQL Databases; Oracle WebLogic / Tomcat Application Servers;
• Experience in building / supporting Continuous Delivery pipelines;
• Experience with API Management tools (Apigee, WSO2);
• Experience with SOA applications and cloud-based services;
• Experience with cloud computing services (GCP, Azure, AWS);
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC;
• Experience in virtualization: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, VM Ware ESX/ESXi, etc.;
• Hands-on experience with DevOps configuration management tools: Ansible, Terraform, Docker (nice to have also: Jenkins, Chef, Puppet);
• Experience in monitoring/reporting tools: Prometheus / Grafana, EFK stack (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana), Geneos, etc.;
• Good knowledge of TeamCity, GIT / BitBucket / Artifactory (nice to have: IBM uDeploy);
• Ability to deploy complex solutions based on IaaS, PaaS, and public and private cloud-based infrastructures;
• Able to work efficiently with colleagues in multiple regions;
• Comfortable interacting directly with a broad spectrum of stakeholders in multiple regions;
• Willing to collaborate across domains, for efficiency in technology sharing and reuse.
• Knowledge of security capabilities (mTLS, OAuth2, or similar technologies).
