Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software for Set-Top Boxes (STB) and Android middleware.
• Utilize C and C++ programming languages to create efficient and robust code.
• Employ YOCTO to build and manage custom Linux distributions tailored to specific project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionalities.
• Conduct research to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, and integrate relevant innovations into ongoing projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Document development processes, code, and testing procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain project continuity.

Must-Have Skill Set:

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Extensive experience with YOCTO and Linux operating systems.
• Domain expertise in Set-Top Boxes (STB) and Android middleware.
• Proven ability to work on complex software development projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

• 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in software development and research engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with open-source projects and contributions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
