Job Description
As Sr Sales Engineer, the candidate is expected to do a regular analysis for the ongoing and upcoming projects and presenting it to Sales Manager. The position requires understanding of the products and the competition especially in the challenging economic environment. The candidate should be good in communication and interacting with senior design personnel’s in consulting firms and with MEP contractors. Candidate should have adequate knowledge on UL listed Dampers, Grills and Vav’s etc. This is mandatory requirement for any candidate applying this job.
Key Job Deliverable/ Accountabilities
Sales Growth : Drive the sales in all product verticals and meeting / exceeding the individual and team’s sales targets; Periodically analyze the sales pipeline and draw up the corrective measures; Participating in the sales review meeting weekly basis. Update the Sales Manager on product gaps and means to overcome the same; Growing the rapport with key clients by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities; Consulting Sales : Working with design consultants to specify the licensed products such as UL dampers, Vav Boxes, Silencers, Grills & Fans etc.
Essential Attributes / Competencies • Thorough in Ducting, Dampers & Grilles Business; • In-depth knowledge of the products and application; • Well aware of the standards and codes used in the HVAC industry for the Flagship products. • Awareness of commercial conditions & their implications. • Intuitive Skill : Adaptability, persuasiveness - effective team player. • Sound work ethic, good decision making & ability to maintain effective working relationship;
Qualification
Educational Qualification: Graduate engineer with minimum 7 years experience working in Gulf Countries with specific experience in similar field for 5 years.
