Job Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of companies sales activities. They will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, building a strong sales team under them, and creating a robust sales network across India. The ideal candidate should have experience in nurturing talent and improving sales performance while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's objectives and goals.
- Nurture and improve the sales performance of existing talent while building a strong sales team that can meet and exceed targets.
- Identify new sales opportunities and explore untapped avenues to increase revenue growth.
- Create and manage a strong sales network across India.
- Develop and implement effective sales processes and structures to drive efficiency and productivity within their team.
- Lead all kinds of sales activities including inbound and outbound.
- Closely monitor sales performance to ensure targets are met.
- Intervene and guide their team to yield better results and improve sales performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in sales leadership roles, preferably in the analytical laboratory requirements industry.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve sales targets.
