This role is of a Company Brand Ambassador located in Prague (Spirits& Wines Multinational Co) expanding in Czech Republic. For this reason this role can become your future National Sales Manager or perhaps even regional SEE, in just a few years.
Hiring Manager background
- Oversees Czech Republic, but cannot cover the market alone. Needs a smart sales rep to act as a local Brand Ambassador to focus on Prague and expand coverage.
Role purpose
- Independent, standalone role in Prague (no local entity) - B2B engagement is an option.
- Responsible for delivering volume, distribution, and merchandising of designated wines, spirits, and other products.
- Role covers all channels (on-premise and off-premise).
- Works closely with supervisor in order to:
- Manage importer and distributor relationships.
- Develop and execute marketing programs with importer.
- Call on and activate key customers.
- Requires strong balance of sales execution and brand activation – hunter profile, energetic.
Key responsibilities
- Manage importer/distribution relationships to ensure products are prioritized and receive focus.
- Provide support and direction within importer’s structure, motivating local teams.
- Manage the product portfolio in Czech Republic, traveling to engage accounts and promote products.
- Develop and implement creative activation programs: tastings, demos, on-trade and off-trade events.
- Support marketing team with event planning and execution (both on-trade and off-trade).
- Actively use social media to amplify brand presence (critical channel since no in-person entity exists).
- Survey the market regularly to ensure distribution, pricing, POS, displays, and advertising are in line with standards.
- Achieve KPIs linked to volume, brand distribution, and qualitative activation goals.
The Sales Rep -Brand Ambassador is responsible for delivering volume, distribution and merchandising across their designated market pertaining to certain designated wines, spirits and other products (the “Products”) as designated by their supervisor. Responsibility covers (a) all channels of business for such products including, without limitation, on-premise and off-premise, (b) working with their supervisor to manage importer relationships as well as major customer relationships, and (c) working with their supervisor to develop and execute marketing programs with the importer in the pursuit of achieving both quantitative and qualitative KPI’s.
The Sales Rep-Brand Ambassador’s services include, without limitation:
• Manage the Importer/ Distribution relationship ensuring the Products are at the top of mind and receives full focus.
• To work within the Importer’s structure to provide support, be directive, and motivate the various teams.
• Manage the Product portfolio in the territory, and travel within the territory to actively engage accounts and promote the Products.
• Implement creative programs to activate the consumer, including product sampling and demos in all types of off premise and on premise.
• Participate with the Regional Manager in the development and execution of annual marketing plan for the territory.
• Work closely with the importer's marketing and sales marketing team to implement creative programs aimed at activating consumers.
• Actively develop and manage relationships with importer personnel i.e., Senior Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Trade marketing, Account Executives, Merchandising,
• Call on and activate key customers in the market in conjunction with the Importer.
• Spend time each month surveying the market to ensure that distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs, menus, and ads are executed to standard.
• Achieving certain individual KPI’s as may be established by their supervisor(s).
Candidate profile
- Minimum 3 years in sales, trade marketing, or brand activation within the spirits or beverage industry.
- Strong HoReCa (on-trade) experience is highly preferred.
- Motivated, self-driven, personable, presentable, articulate communicator (from bartender to MD).
- Fluent in Czech and English.
- Good planning, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Strong presentation and training ability (to inspire bartenders, distributors, customers).
- Creative, resilient, persistent, and not afraid to try new approaches.
- Social media savvy; uses online platforms to build brand visibility.
- Enthusiastic about nightlife, hospitality, and events. Comfortable working evenings and weekends.
- Independent mindset with entrepreneurial spirit. Comfortable with minimal structure.
- Outgoing, passionate about premium spirits.
- Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.

• Experience in brand activation, sales or trade marketing in the spirit or beverage industry.
• Knowledge of ON and OFF Trade environments and an understanding of the spirit market dynamics.
• Active and savvy on social media platforms to complement brand representation.
Key differentiators are basically:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated who understands how to take the initiative but also must work well with others within a small team.
Native hunter type of personality.

- Based in Prague or maximum 1 hour away.

- Prague is the core market, but the role covers the entire country.
Compensation & Benefits
- Contract type: Permanent.
- Salary range: CZK 840,000 – 960,000 / year.
- Top limit flexibility: up to CZK 1,200,000 for highly experienced candidates.
- Bonus structure:
- 20% tied to volume and financial performance.
- 5% tied to individual KPIs.
- Potential to exceed 20% if all brand targets are achieved.
- Car allowance: Skoda Octavia (affordable leasing option for sales reps).
- No paid overtime; role is results-based.
Organizational setup
- Reports directly to the Czech Hiring Manager
- Works closely with marketing team (on/off trade events).
- Supports importer’s marketing and sales teams in execution.
- Collaboration with corporate offices; requires resilience in dealing with large corporate structures.
