Client description:

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Senior Security Engineer – Agile Product Development
- Reporting to: CTO or CEO
- Location: San Jose, US
Role & responsibilities:
- Security roadmap for all products in the suite (OTA, Logging, Remote Diagnostics) and Security product specifications, including requirements, design specifications and test plans for the system, software, and hardware teams.
- Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) delivery: Analysis of cybersecurity attack entry points, evaluation of risk versus impact, implementation, monitoring, control and consistent upgrade of cybersecurity requirements and solutions and evaluation of test and software analysis reports
- Competitive analysis and accumulation, leverage and socialization of knowledge of emerging cybersecurity technologies and solutions in the Automotive and Consumer Electronics sectors,
Candidate requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience and expertise in planning and developing security policies, procedures, and standards and designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
- BS / MS in Computer Science or similar degree
- Broad comparative understanding of operating systems, networking technologies, and specific implementations – especially from a system security perspective
- Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in medium to large environments, including Key Management, Digital Certificates and Digital Signatures
- Familiarity with standards like SAE/ISO 21434, AUTOSAR and Uptane – highly preferable
- Experience with Security solutions for clouds like GCP, Azure, AWS, Cloud Foundry or equivalent – highly preferable
- Familiarity with secure coding best practices, processes, and methods – highly preferable
- Experience with penetration testing and penetration tools – highly preferable
- Strength in soft skills, including high energy, collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders, quality obsession, advanced communication and analytical skills and more – highly preferable
