Role & responsibilities:

• Maintain the site and implement Continuous Delivery practises for development teams to improve time and quality of deliverables.
• Integrate SAST and DAST tools with existing and new systems/applications.
• Manage and support Unix/Linux/Windows servers that run their products and services.
• Build and maintain on-premises and cloud infra environments, as well as ensuring production system availability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Using the appropriate technologies, automate configuration management and deployments, as well as alerts for system availability and performance.
• Develop solution prototypes and evaluate new tools.
• Engage in incident handling and root cause analysis.
• Ensure all servers are maintained to the latest security standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and provide operational support.
• Provide guidelines to implement best practices, develop efficiencies, and improve scalability.

Candidate requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as SRE/DevOps Engineer supporting large-scale and high-load cloud-based production systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practises and in designing CI/CD pipelines across diverse tech stacks.
• Strong Experience with AWS including extensive experience in Amazon EC2 instances.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and with virtual machines (OS –Linux, Redhat, Centos, and Ubuntu) and microservices in relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with systems monitoring, alerting, analytics and in real-time failover architecture, principles, and processes.
• Should have a firm grasp of networking tools and technologies, and an ability to run multiple cloud deployments - including production, staging, and sandbox.
• Good understanding of code versioning tools (Git) and in setting up HTTPS certificates and SSL tunnels.
• Extensive knowledge in Load balancing and auto scale up and down in a cloud setup.
• Experience of working with log analysis and monitoring tools in a distributed application scenario and in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python.
• Ability to work in a client facing, fast paced environment with minimal supervision and commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
