Role details:

• Title / Designation: Software Development Engineer - 3
• Location: Kolkata
• Work Mode: Full-time / WFO

Role & responsibilities:

• Own the full software development lifecycle from ideation and design to development and delivery.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to understand and deliver new requirements.
• Build reusable platforms including workflow, integration framework, form field access privilege, and data security.
• Exhibit a passion for technology and product development, thriving in an environment with ambiguities and fast-paced changes.
• Work with the database layer and write optimal SQL queries.
• Monitor and assess overall system performance using tools like New Relic and optimize it accordingly.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Candidate requirements:

• 7+ years in Node.js development with prior experience in writing APIs in Node.js
• Experience in Nest.js and Express.js is a plus.
• Working knowledge of modules such as sequelizer and strong understanding of the MVC architecture.
• Preferred experience with Bitbucket, AWS and New Relic.
• Relevant experience working on MySQL/NoSQL databases is preferred.
• Experience in Development Ops will be beneficial.
• Previous experience working with start-ups will be considered an added advantage.
• B. Tech from IIT /NIT /BITS pilani will be an added advantage.
