Our client is a VC-funded InsurTech platform company, providing software platforms for Life Insurance and Health Insurance companies across the globe. Leveraging their domain expertise, regulatory knowledge and technology experience, they architect innovative products and disrupt the Insurance value chain from Customer Acquisition to Engagement. Their products serve customers across the APAC region.

• Title / Designation: Senior Software Engineer (Angular)

• Reporting Manager: Technical Lead
• Location: Pune / Mumbai

• Work Mode: Work from office

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable Angular (8+) applications with a focus on high performance.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize frontend components for maximum speed and scalability and with proper documentation.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, leveraging modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT).
• Implement state management using NGRX/Redux.
• Write unit tests for Angular components using frameworks like Jest or Jasmine.
• Debug and resolve application issues effectively.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide guidance on best practices.
• Collaborate with UX and product teams to deliver enhanced user experiences.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Angular development experience, preferably in the insurance domain.
• Expertise in Angular 8+, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, Git, and testing libraries (e.g., Jest, Jasmine).
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and a passion for learning and growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
