The team and the project:

The team is responsible for gathering and processing market data from the external vendors. The market data is used for pricing of financial instruments (FX, Equities, Crypto, Derivatives). The clients can trade those products on our internal platform. The project involves low latency systems that process real-time data. There are also pricing components that can compute a fair value of sophisticated financial products. Finally, there are risk applications that control the exposure of the company.

The role:

Due to the importance for the company profits, the system is validated with automated tests. There is an existing infrastructure for backend tests built with Python, Docker and C# FlaUI frontend tests which are expand on daily basis. A successful candidate will be expected expand test coverage by adding additional test cases in existing technology or in the new one chosen by him. Applicant will be also responsible for extending and improving the existing framework. In the future as the test case coverage will expand the candidate will be required to prepare RestApi test framework together with the new test cases and expand the existing framework to support non-functional test cases.

The position might involve occasional 3rd line support.

Essential requirements:

• English (at least B2)
• One of the following on an expert level: Python, C#, Java
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Testing knowledge
• Docker
• Git
