Senior Sotfware Developer

The senior SW developer would work on embedded software for automotive RF and infotainment systems, such as tuners and broadcast receivers integrated into high-performance antenna modules for vehicle OEMs. The job holder will be part of an international SW team managed from Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing firmware for microcontroller or SoC-based ECUs in automotive environments, focusing on RF signal processing, diagnostics, and communication stacks like Ethernet.
2. Specific tasks may include implementing tuner functionality (e.g., AM/FM/DAB handling, frequency switching, noise filtering), optimizing for real-time performance and memory constraints using C/C++, and ensuring compliance with ASPICE SWE processes (requirements traceability, testing, reviews).
3. The international team who would this person work with also designs software architecture with tools like Enterprise Architect (UML diagrams, interfaces), lead small teams through code reviews and mentoring, and support OEM projects with debugging, integration, and field deployments.

Requirements:

1. Several years of experience in automotive embedded software development
2. Proven leadership experience
3. Advantageous: experience in infotainment, especially tuner and broadcast systems
4. Strong knowledge of the C and C++ programming languages
5. Familiar with ASPICE SWE process requirements
6. Software architecture experience, e.g., using Enterprise Architect
7. Good English skills, both written and spoken
