IT Infrastructure Lead

Our client is an international infrastructure services company based in Milan. For the IT department and reporting to the CIO we are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Lead.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, implementation and management of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking etc.
• Technology scouting activities and solution design, including hardware and sizing definitions.
• Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to network/architecture management.
• Evaluate access permissions and privileges.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
• Create and execute the IT procedures to maintain systems healthy and operative

Requirements:

• Consolidated experience in IT Infrastructure design, delivery and management
• Hands on experience in the management of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and related technologies (Active Directory, Sharepoint, Microsoft Exchange, DHCP, DNS, File Server), storage and backup
• Very good experience in managing and configuring Vmware / Vsphere platforms
• Database knowledge
• Previous experience in ERP deployment and/or migration would be advantageous
• Experience in managing network architectures (Cisco preferred) inventory systems and security solutions are nice-to-have
• Good organisational skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and multitasking skills
• Flexibility and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Good spoken and written English is necessary for this role
