Objective-This role will manage all aspects of VAT compliance and reporting, and to support in other areas of tax in UAE and acts as compliance officer to all other regulations.

Job Role

• Perform ongoing tax accounting related activities for the entity.
• Maintain effective control procedures on overall aspects of the tax processes. Develop and implement tax optimization opportunities.
• Prepare / review VAT returns and manage the filing with the Federal Tax Authority
• To analyse and provide necessary information and supporting documents for VAT related queries to Management and FTA.
• Review tax returns during filing.
• Provide budgetary estimates on non-recoverable VAT to management and provide projections for cash flow
• Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures.
• Act as a coordinator for all internal and external compliance matters e.g., VAT compliance, Information Security, etc.
• Registration and de-registration of the entities as & when required.
• Manage tax audits and reporting requirements from Federal Tax Authority.
• Follow and manage changes related to any medication in tax laws.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with UAE VAT requirements and general principles of income and corporation tax.
• Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
• Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting skills with applying the best practices to organize
• MBA/Bachelors’ degree in accounting plus 5 years of experience in a tax, either with a tax body or corporate.
• Experience in VAT matters for real estate industry will be an added advantage.
• Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Arabic communication skills will be an added advantage
