Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the local trading desk, managing all trading activities and strategies.
• Develop and execute effective quantitative/systematic trading strategies across global markets.
• Showcase a strong history of success in Profit and Loss (PnL) and Sharpe Ratio, highlighting expertise in quantitative/systematic trading.
• Apply your experience from Buyside/Sellside to make well-informed decisions and navigate diverse market conditions.
• Embrace calculated risks while demonstrating an appetite for increased risk-taking as our expansion continues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, compliance, and research, to ensure optimal trading performance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of market trends, news, and economic developments to identify potential trading opportunities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior traders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance trading environment.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quantitative/Systematic Trading, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful PnL and Sharpe Ratio in trading across global markets.
• Solid understanding of Buyside/Sellside operations.
• Familiarity with diverse trading platforms, tools, and algorithms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, using data-driven insights to make trading decisions.
• Proficiency in market research and analysis, staying informed about the latest market trends and economic developments.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior traders.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications would be advantageous.
