We are looking for a Senior Trader Specialist with experience in supports trading and electricity supply operations for a professional company in the telecommunications and energy sector.

Role Purpose

The Senior Trader Specialist supports trading and electricity supply operations through procurement activities, market analysis, reporting to authorities, and collaboration with partners involved in balancing and forecasting. The role has a direct impact on the company’s operational compliance and commercial efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

Trading & Procurement:

• Actively participate in the process of bidding and contracting electricity for end customers.
• Monitor the energy market and identify commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with external providers for balancing and forecasting activities.
• Provide support in obtaining licenses and contracting network and transmission services.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare and submit reports to ANRE, OPCOM, BRM, Transelectrica, and other operators.
• Monitor deadlines and the content of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Centralize data on consumption, transactions, and imbalances.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of reported data.

Operational Support:

• Maintain clear records of communications with authorities.
• Participate in internal trainings and actively contribute to team tasks.
• Comply with occupational safety and internal procedures.

Ideal Profile

Technical Requirements:

• University degree in a technical field.
• Solid knowledge of energy procurement and trading.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Good command of English.
• Category B driving license.
