About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Underground Specialist to lead the design and execution of underground civil engineering works for major industrial projects. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality solutions for drainage systems, underground utilities, pits, basins, and site development, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of design calculations, drawings, and specifications for underground facilities and drainage networks.

• Oversee material take-offs (MTOs) and accurate cost estimates.

• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

• Support project execution during detailed engineering and construction phases.

• Ensure alignment with global codes and standards (ACI, AISC, Eurocode, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred in Civil/Water Resources/Construction/Environmental Engineering).

• 10–12 years’ experience in underground civil works, drainage design, or site preparation within oil & gas or large industrial projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D, Navisworks, MicroStation, OpenRoads/InRoads, or InfoDrainage is advantageous.

• Strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills with proven project delivery record.

• Willingness to travel and work overseas on deputation.
