You have the ability to easily understand and apply basic principles of risk, insurance, reinsurance and contract structuring. 

Our client is a well-established and reputable specialist insurer based in Johannesburg and has available an opportunity for an innovative and assertive self-starter that can add value to a team of specialists in their field by being responsible for investigating and developing innovative underwriting solutions that meet the business needs of internal and external clients in support of the company and ensure that these are understood by both internal and external clients.

You will rely on:

• Your experience in large and complex claims
• Your working knowledge of Industry Policy Wording,
• Your knowledge of insurance operations,
• Your technical knowledge of insurance and reinsurance structuring.  

In addition to having a Finance or Business related 3-year post-matric qualification, an RE5 accreditation, being FAIS compliant, and sound knowledge of insurance services regulations (FAIS, PPR, NCA, Insurance Acts), you are a fast learner that can use initiative.
