Job Description:
We are seeking a candidate for the position of Technical Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level technical support within our organization. The role involves deploying endpoint computing hardware and software platforms, assisting with onboarding/offboarding activities, managing assets effectively and accurately, and actively participating in enterprise-wide technology deployment projects that require collaboration with various teams within and outside of CTS.Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to users within the organization.
- Deploy endpoint computing hardware and software platforms.
- Support the business with onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Manage assets effectively and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in enterprise-wide technology deployment projects, collaborating with teams within and outside of CTS.
- Ensure compliance with internal cyber security policies to safeguard applications and data residing on endpoint devices.
- Successfully deploy multi-factor authentication to all users in the organization.
- Enroll mobile devices in the mobile device management tool.
- Regularly back up laptops, ensure they are fully encrypted, and apply the latest security updates and malware/virus protection.
