Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Execute installation, maintenance and service for medical equipment;
• Continually support and develop a culture of health & safety first;
• Manage consumables ensuring that at all times the required stock levels are maintained in line with achieving a first time fix and the assigned daily workload
• Engage in ongoing preventative maintenance for medical equipment;
• Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers;
• Respond to service calls in order to perform on-site repairs;
• Provide technical support services, such as replacing needed equipment components. Once their work is completed, service engineer completes service reports;
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and quality control checks and provide quality customer service;
• Elaborate presentation materials and training for hospital technicians;
• Implement product trainings for beneficiary stuff or for colleagues from other departments.

Candidate requirements:

• Electronics Engineer graduate with a background in the following fields: electrical, mechanics and hydraulics;
• Previous work experience in medical devices is an advantage (but not specifically required);
• Previous service repair engineer of 1+ year;
• Serious, responsible well-organized person, with rigorous working style and attention to details;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Integrity, initiative and focus;
• Good knowledge of PC;
• Availability to travel in the country for service activities;
• Team player but able to work independently;
• Driving license cat. B.
