Job Description:
- Provides technical support to field engineers, product support personnel, may be involved in customer installation and training
- Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment
- Provides support to users/customer
- Reports reliability, design and maintenance problems to design engineering/software engineering
Essential Duties:
- Professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service on’s product, while ensuring compliance with the manufacturer specification
- Technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers.
- Repair mechanical and electronic products
- Service checks at Customers on products
- Management of documentation for internal as external references
- Technical and IT support to Customers, Product Managers and Sales Department
- Turnaround time for repairs within set guidelines, respond to Service Complaints
- Promote Service contracts
Experience and qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Clinical Engineering or Electronic related equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical electronics, good mechanical skills (preferably in the hospital environment)
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to interpret troubleshooting guidelines and manufacturing prints
- Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, MFG/Pro, Lotus Notes)
- Driving licence
