Job Description
Our Client is one of the largest distributors in the industrial tools and equipment industry. For their expanding operations in Athens, they are searching for a ‘’Service Manager’’ to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Mapping and optimizing the operation of the After Sales Service, as well as the services provided. Creation of operating procedures and rules according to principles of customer experience excellence and efficiency.
- Development and organization of after-sales service support for Greece and the cooperating countries abroad.
- Supervise and optimize the functionality of workshops, according to procedures, with the supervision of the entire network of workshops.
- Control and formation of contracts with suppliers and partners for optimal performance.
- Coordination and supervision of the technical team, with assignment of tasks and evaluation of performance. Staffing the management where and when needed.
- Ensuring adherence to times and quality of repair of tools and machines (communication with warehouse, purchasing, distribution departments, etc.).
- Oversee and ensure the availability of spare parts, necessary resources, and workshop equipment.
- Management and forecasting of all maintenance and repair work of electromechanical equipment of the building facilities.
- Organization of technical education and training programs.
- Participation in the research and development program (tests, evaluations, documentation) of electric and conventional tools.
- Presentation of technical management results to management and identification of points for improvement – modification for optimal management performance.
Profile:
- Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, production).
- Total professional experience of at least 5 years in a similar position, with administrative experience.
- Highly developed project management and team management skills with attention to detail and commitment to results.
- Efficiency and customer-centric orientation.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Very good PC knowledge (Office Suite, Microsoft Windows), with experience in ERP/CRM applications, preferably Entersoft.
- Strong time management and scheduling skills.
