• Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Pune/Chennai/Hyderabad/Kolkata
• Work Mode: Hybrid

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the development of large-scale services and distributed systems.
• Utilize in-depth Shopify experience to drive the building of end-to-end eCommerce technology solutions.
• Develop comprehensive eCommerce solutions encompassing Shopify and associated systems (OMS, IMS, WMS, credit card processing, tax engine, digital distribution, etc.).
• Implement common design patterns and adhere to development best practices for robust and scalable solutions.
• Define, design, and implement complex and scalable systems, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Identify areas within the systems that can be streamlined or automated for improved efficiency.
• Apply experience with agile development methodologies, emphasizing Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Set up and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
• Collaborate effectively within a team, demonstrating good interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidate requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on large-scale services and distributed systems.
• Mandatory experience with Shopify, showcasing expertise in utilizing its features and capabilities.
• Proven experience in building end-to-end eCommerce solutions, covering various associated systems.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, Python, HTML5, CSS3, and Ruby.
• Experienced in NodeJS, JavaScript (ES2019+), ESLint, and Typescript.
• Expertise in common design patterns and development best practices and with APIs, webhooks, and data transfer approaches.
• Ability to define, design, and implement complex and scalable systems.
• Capability to identify areas for process streamlining and automation.
• Previous experience with agile development methodologies, particularly Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience in setting up and managing Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
• Candidate should have a valid passport and should be willing to work in on-site location (Costa-Rica) for the first 6-8 months.
