In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving new business growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and cultivate a portfolio of clients seeking short-term insurance coverage, ensuring their unique insurance needs are met within Islamic Insurance principles.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and providing tailored solutions that align with their values.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Assess clients' short-term insurance requirements and recommend suitable coverage options, considering Islamic principles.
- Negotiate policy terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters to secure favorable terms for clients while adhering to Sharia-compliant guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and efficient policy administration, including issuing policies, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
- Address client inquiries, claims, and complaints promptly and professionally, collaborating with claims representatives as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting short-term Islamic insurance.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of short-term Islamic insurance products.
- Train and mentor junior team members and graduates, sharing your expertise and guiding them to success.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (preferred).
- RE qualified.
- Proven work experience of a minimum of 5 years as a Short-Term Insurance Account Executive or in a similar sales-driven role within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of short-term insurance products, policies, and underwriting processes within the context of Islamic Insurance.
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, integrity, and exceptional customer service within the framework of Islamic values.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to accurately assess clients' risk exposures.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
