As part of the Information & Communications Technology Department and a member of the Infrastructure Team based in Florence, you will be responsible for the following activities: 

• Management of infrastructures relating to the Data Centers in the Florence area, supporting the current team in the ordinary and extraordinary management of the systems
• Provide support to the affiliates for local infrastructure projects or issues
• Ensure appropriate troubleshooting of problems and their management also through third-party vendors
• Check that the contractual service levels are respected and take any corrective actions with a view to continuous improvement of the service
• Plan the maintenance and monitoring of the systems to ensure proper functioning
• Collaborate in the implementation and infrastructural qualification activities for changes and/or new projects

Skills & Background

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. We will also evaluate candidates with a High School Diploma 
• 3-5 years' experience as a systems engineer / senior systems administrator with Windows/Linux and ideally Oracle Databases gained ideally in enterprise-level contexts
• reliable, flexible, has an attitudine for teamwork
• Good written and spoken English
