SalaryJob DescriptionOur client delivers electrical installation works across Romania as well as internationally. Their services include: consulting, design, execution, testing, maintenance, and operations.
Location & Workstyle:
- on-site in Bucharest
Scope of the Role:- The Site Manager will have full operational responsibility for the execution of electrical installation and/or electrical substation works.
- This is a hands-on coordination role requiring a combination of technical authority, project management discipline, and strong stakeholder management skills – including direct client interaction on-site.
Key responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate all on-site activities across the full execution cycle, from mobilisation through to handover and the warranty period.
- Manage the client relationship on-site: act as the main point of contact, address queries, and proactively communicate progress and risks.
- Plan and allocate resources (workforce, equipment, subcontractors); maintain and monitor the project execution schedule (Gantt).
- Administer the full technical documentation flow: building permits, PCCVI (Quality Inspection and Reception Plan), Construction Book, As-Built drawings.
- Prepare and submit monthly production, stock, and consumption reports to the finance department.
- Control procurement processes for the site; review and approve subcontractor work situations (situatii de lucrari).
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and applicable construction legislation throughout the project
Candidate profile:- Must-haves:
- Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating the execution of electrical installation projects and/or electrical substation works.
- Solid knowledge of Romanian construction legislation and technical standards applicable to electrical works.
- Proven ability to manage and produce construction documentation: permits, PCCVI, Construction Book, As-Built.
- Experience managing subcontractors and approving work situations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with photovoltaic / renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with SCADA integration works.
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent planning tools.
