Client description:
Our client is a provider of global standards-compliant SaaS Automotive Software and Data Management platform for the Connected Vehicles ecosystem. Their suite of powerful automotive software and data management solutions empowers OEMs to address hundreds of connected vehicles use cases across Fleet Management, IoT and AI / ML-powered Smart Predictive Maintenance, Data Monetization, Owner / User hyper-personalization and others, in addition to reducing recalls and warranty claims.
Role details:
- Title / Designation: Site Reliability Engineer
- Reporting to: Team Lead
- Location: San Jose, US
Role & responsibilities:
- End-to-end ownership of Cloud production infrastructure: Design and implementation of relevant tools and software
- Ownership of security best practices on an ongoing basis
- Hands-on technical work, writing and reviewing code and documentation,
- Ensuring site reliability, by identifying and resolving root causes of issues in the production environment, and by debugging / resolution, as required
Candidate requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in managing cloud-native infrastructure setup
- Experience in Python and / or Golang, and other programming languages, with passion for and proven experience with automating everything using code
- Passion for Security and good understanding of industry best practices for SRE
- Proven experience in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action, on issues in the production environment
- Experience in Terraform – highly preferable
- Experience in database and network management – highly preferable
- Experience in defining security policies and best practices – highly preferable
- Experience in managing a large scale multi cloud environment – highly preferable
- Knowledge of SOC, GDPR or ISO 27001 security compliance standards – highly preferable
