Job Opportunity: Site Supervisor - Automation Engineering (Steel Industry)
Scope: Commission production lines, equipment in the plant. Minimal travel, critical role. Requires expertise in Siemens PLC, ABB Drive, or L2 Specialist/Automation Engineering. Not a team supervisor, but a solo player with coding and commissioning skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze automation projects
- Manage commissioning of plants/equipment
- Code and commission Siemens PLC, ABB Drive, or L2 Specialist/Automation Engineering
- Analyze hardware and configuration
- Evaluate modification impact
- Re-plan activities and resources
- Write, test code, and tune drives
- Adapt software as per process or customer requirements
- Produce detailed analyses and modifications
- Generate progress reports and final technical reports
- Manage automation punch list
- Work in compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with site managers and other staff
- Promote positive work culture
Technical Requirements:
- Experience in the steel industry
- Knowledge of metallurgic plants (Hot Rolling mill, Cold Rolling, Melt shop)
- For PLC Specialist: Siemens PLC Step5/Step7/TIA Portal, Rockwell Automation PLC, HMI programming
- For Drive Specialist: ABB Drive ACS/DCS, Siemens Sinamics, CODESYS programming
- For L2 Specialist: Visual Studio, C/C++/C#, MS SQL Server, Delphi, JAVA

C&B Package:
- Salary: €60k - €108k gross p.a.
- 1st-year house paid by employer
