Role details:

• Title / Designation: Snowflake Architect 
• Location: Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore.
• Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO)
• Shift time – 2 PM to 11PM

Role & responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Snowflake.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and complex SQL transformations using Snowflake’s advanced features (Snowpipe, Streams, Time Travel).
• Improve query and pipeline efficiency by analyzing performance, identifying bottlenecks, and applying tuning best practices.
• Implement robust security controls using RBAC, least-privilege access, secure views, data masking, and row/column-level security.
• Enforce enterprise-grade data protection with encryption, key/secret management, network policies, and private connectivity.
• Establish governance and monitoring frameworks through access history, object tagging, data classification, and automated compliance checks.
• Integrate Snowflake securely with cloud and enterprise systems by validating IAM configurations, securing data sharing, and mitigating data-exfiltration risks.

Candidate requirements:

• With 10+ years of Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, SQL, and data engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes, and performance optimization.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake security features including RBAC, data masking, and access controls.
• Knowledge of encryption, key/secret management, network security, and compliance practices.
• Familiarity with governance, auditing, and monitoring capabilities within Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (preferably Lambda) for data processing.
• Skills in Python or PySpark for building and automating data workflows.
• Understanding of IAM integrations and secure cloud connectivity principles.
