Job Summary:
As the Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective social media strategies, managing campaigns across various channels, and driving engagement and brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the effectiveness of the strategies.
- Campaign Management: Plan, create, and manage engaging social media campaigns across YouTube (including Shorts), Meta (Instagram, Facebook, Threads), Telegram, Quora, Twitter, Snapchat and other relevant platforms. Monitor campaign performance, optimize content, and adjust strategies to maximize results and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling and relevant social media content that resonates with the target audience. Create and curate engaging text, image, and video content to drive brand awareness and user engagement.
- Community Management: Monitor and engage with the online community across social media channels. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive relationships with customers, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, conversion rates, and customer feedback. Generate regular reports on campaign effectiveness, trends, and actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, design, and product development, to align social media initiatives with broader business goals. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on leveraging social media for their respective initiatives.
- Trend Monitoring: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Stay informed about the latest social media tools, features, and advertising options to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience (4-8 years) in social media marketing, preferably in the education or edtech industry
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas
