About the Role

We are hiring a Software Applications QA Engineer to join a growing R&D team developing advanced network intelligence and management software.

You will work across the full testing lifecycle, combining manual and automated testing, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review product requirements, specifications, and technical documentation

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Perform manual and exploratory testing across applications and systems

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium, Postman, etc.)

• Conduct regression testing to validate system stability

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps

• Validate bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met

• Collaborate with developers to analyze root causes and improve solutions

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)

• Contribute to QA processes, standards, and continuous improvement

• Support test environment setup (including basic hardware / IoT configurations)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing / QA

• Strong experience in manual testing and test case creation

• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Postman, etc.)

• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira or similar)

• Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows environments

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Understanding of APIs / networking concepts is a plus

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Basic programming skills (Python or similar)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)

• Familiarity with network protocols (SNMP, RESTCONF)

• Experience with Elasticsearch or NoSQL databases
