Job description
As a Software Engineer for Integrated Circuits Simulation Development, you will create software for multi-physics analysis and work on the development and integration of simulation solutions used in the design and verification of integrated electronic circuits (IC).
In your new role, you will:

Develop Infineon’s in-house simulation solutions
-
Develop and constantly optimize all aspects of the simulator to achieve maximum performance, feature set and maintainability.

Develop and optimize simulation methods for multi-physics analysis
-
Integrate appropriate numerical methods and solvers in the simulation framework and in the IC design environments. Improve existing software modules and be responsible for refactoring and maintenance of existing code.

Write technical documentation.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
-
A Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.

Good programming skills with focus on C++/C in UNIX/Linux environments.

Programing skills with scripting languages (e.g. Python, MatLab/Octave, Perl)

Fluent English Skills
It is a plus if you have:
-
Basic knowledge of numerical methods and experience with any of multi-physics simulation tools (e.g ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus)

Prior experience in programing with MatLab/Octave.
