Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and manage a team of talented engineers, setting clear expectations and promoting professional development.

• Determine and implement technical directions and architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Facilitate collaboration across Product, QA, DevOps, and other departments to achieve seamless workflow and project coherence.

• Oversee the engineering project lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, assuring on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Uphold Agile principles and streamline project tracking and task management through JIRA.

• Regularly assess system health, ensuring robustness and optimal performance of all services.

• Drive recruitment and training initiatives to assemble and nurture a world-class engineering team.

• Conduct and oversee rigorous code reviews, and contribute hands-on to coding when necessary, to guide quality and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.

• At least 6 - 7 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership/managerial position.

• Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of programming languages and frameworks (.NET, SQL, Angular, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and proficiency in MS Office Suite for management and reporting purposes.

• Experience with mobile development and familiarity with frameworks such as Native or Flutter.

• A deep understanding of DevOps practices, including but not limited to CI/CD pipeline construction and management.

• Proven track record in system architecture for both cloud and on-premises solutions, emphasizing scalability and security.

• History of success in leading and developing high-performing engineering teams.

• Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies, with practical experience in their application to drive efficiency and effectiveness in development.

• Outstanding communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
