About the Role

Our client is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join a growing R&D team focused on developing network intelligence and management solutions.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems used in telecom and enterprise environments.

This position combines manual testing and UI automation, offering exposure to modern technologies including 4G/5G, IoT, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

• Review product requirements, technical specifications, and design documents

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual + automated)

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and exploratory testing

• Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes

• Identify test scenarios suitable for automation

Automation

• Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Robot Framework

• Support the expansion and maintenance of automation frameworks

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Defect Management & Collaboration

• Identify, reproduce, and document defects clearly

• Track issues and verify fixes against acceptance criteria

• Collaborate closely with development and product teams

• Communicate risks and quality concerns

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare test reports and release readiness documentation

• Maintain test environments and test data

• Contribute to QA processes and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar

• 3+ years of experience in software QA

• Experience with both manual testing and test automation

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Selenium WebDriver

  • Robot Framework

  • Python scripting

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, protocols)

• Experience with Jira or similar tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Clear communication and documentation abilities

Nice to have:

• Experience with MongoDB

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in telecom, networking, or IoT environments
