Summarized Accountability:
We are embarking on an exciting journey to transform our Enterprise. Because of that – we are growing and currently seeking a Solution Architect to join our team! This individual will be responsible for discovering, defining, and communicating the technology standards to guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. In addition to technology standards, he/she will propose changes to the service, process, organization, operating model, and other aspects of the business initiatives. This position is uniquely placed to influence the global technology standards, solution design and deployment strategy of large-scale, enterprise-wide.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountabilities/Outcomes Business Management- Collaborates with business stakeholders and peers on the development of long and short-term business plans.
- Aligns business strategies with enabling technologies.
Technology Management
- Serves as the technology standards lead across the enterprise with a focus on application development, DevOps, cloud, infrastructure while demonstrating deep product and solution expertise.
- Possesses strong technical acumen and owns/informs development of technology standards across the organization by taking into consideration the enterprise technology portfolio.
- Responsible for evaluating organization’s current and future business needs and determining which technologies, solutions and vendors could be leveraged to support those requirements.
- Demonstrates deep understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and principles encompassing business, system, data and security architecture.
- Ability to partner with delivery and support teams to provide coaching and technical leadership to design robust, architecturally consistent, and scalable solutions.
- Possesses ability to express a pragmatic and thorough design, considering multiple options that leverage current and future architectural patterns and tools
- Drives a large and diverse technical design team to a single agreed approach, and to ensure that there are no gaps between the various application components.
- Evaluates different approaches and tools to design and build integrations between systems.
- Partners with product line and platform directors and managers to ensure designs adhere to enterprise architectural standards and principles.
- Proficient in SDLC and Agile delivery models.
- Manages vendor relationships related to the program/service line and aligns vendor products and services with service line strategy and supporting multi-year investment roadmaps to meet objectives
- Research and monitor trends in technology domains and publish findings.
People Management
- Ability and experience to manage technical associates.
- Coaches team members and business partners to provide technical leadership and recommends best-practices. Ability to train, educate and mentor service lines associates and peers on technology topics.
Experience & Education:
- A minimum of 7 - 8 years of experience with development and delivery of enterprise technology solutions, systems analysis and technology architectures, application architecture, data management, analytics, programming, network/performance/security management.
- Demonstrated technology standards leadership in business transformation initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge of service delivery concepts, operating model and Agile as well as DevOps principles for program/project delivery.
- Proven knowledge of design thinking, integration patterns (like APIs, webservices, FTP etc.), AI/ML models, Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) best practices, organizational change management, business process model, big data and UI/UX design.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Self-directed, objective-setting individual with strong leadership and negotiation skills
- Team development and motivational skills.
- Critical thinker and problem solver; and able to make connections across complex ideas.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, identify risks, prioritize tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.

- Proven experience in evaluating technology vendors and negotiating contracts.
IS Technical Discipline & Key Working Relationships:
- Knowledge and experience with any architectural frameworks and software such as TOGAF, LeanIX, Ardoq, EABOK, OpenGroup, Zachman, …
- Extensive experience in recommending, delivering, and deploying purchased applications as well as leading a team in custom development.
- Experience with cloud management platforms and services i.e. Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of any enterprise application integration software (e.g. TIBCO) and comprehensive understanding of data integration methodologies
- Working understanding of database management systems as well as data management, ETL and data modelling concepts.
- Hands on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableu, QlikView etc. is desired. Business Skills
