Job Role & Responsibilities

Role: Solution Architect or Technology Lead

Solution Architect / Tech Lead will evangelize & deliver the technical solution and own all the architectural decisions for the solution. Works closely with the team members & vendors to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future architectural changes. You will also define & execute the teams engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing the overall architecture of the product. Includes Solution, Integration, Data, Deployment & Security considerations
• Defines the Engineering practices and guides the team members (including vendors) on coding practices, continuous integration and automated deployment
• Works with Product Manager to create the product backlog and ensures on-time & in-quality delivery
• Hands on coder who will mentor and coach the team to develop the solution & removes all technical impediments
• Provides the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality
• Responsible for building reusable & scalable components

Technical/ Functional skills:

Architecture skills

• Expert on creating architecture including solution architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, deployment architecture & security architecture
• Expert on DevOps & latest Engineering Practices
• Familiar with production Cloud / DevOps environments
• Hands-on developer who can code back and front-end solutions with different architecture

Agile / Digital Experience

• Experience with Agile Development lifecycle. Understands the different roles in the Agile team and how the solution architect must operate within the team
• Experience managing technical priorities within the Backlog

Mindset & Behaviors

• A good blend of technical expertise & ability to understand ‘the why’ behind the user stories
