Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Solutions Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Dublin, Ireland. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on on-site customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team onsite and offsite.

Your tasks:

Drive solution design activities with relevant resources to shape solution options, influencing decisions aligned with the project plans;
Lead and coordinate with 3rd parties to deliver solution designs and prepare design documentation in line with the scope of the project and in compliance with architectural strategies;
Support the preparation of functional and lead the preparation of non-functional requirements providing guidance to the product owner and other project stakeholders;
Build and maintain relationships with Solution Architecture team members, project stakeholders, key 3rd party suppliers and other Information Management and Technology Directorate (IMTD) relevant functions;
Work with Project Managers on developing key task input for project plans, estimating work effort, and in the development and management of the project’s risk log.

Requirements

University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Experience in successful design and delivery of solutions in challenging environments to aggressive deadlines;
Ability to produce concise, accurate solution designs which align with architectural strategy and meet business requirements;
Significant experience of design and development across technologies in use i.e. Microsoft stack, MS SQL Server, .Net Core, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS & SSRS, XML, XBRL, MS Dynamics 365, and Angular;
Experience with Waterfall and Agile lifecycles is an asset;
Excellent command of the English language.
