Key Deliverables :

• Sourcing of projects, products and services required for construction and expansion projects,
• Categorize reliable sources for regular machines, maintenance spares and consumables,
• Ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet defined specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Quality assurance, vendor evaluation, vendor audit and developing vendor relationship

Role Descriptors :

• Project Procurement including vendor assessment, commercial evaluation, price negotiation ordering, expediting, and post supply support during warranty i.e. ownership of the complete Procurement to Pay cycle.
• Procurement and process improvement strategies and plans. Drive innovation and the development of potential new suppliers and alternate sources. Recommend new products, services, or materials in keeping with industry trends
• Ontime delivery of all activities adhering to quality expectances and aggressively perform against savings targets.
• Resolve contractual and supplier disputes where they occur, protecting the interests of the business and engaging legal Business Partners where required.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with multiple global and local interfaces.
• Understand and execute spot buying and sourcing of specialized items for emergency purchases and urgent requirements with a quick turnaround and immediate deliveries.

• Finalization and preparation of service level agreements with contractors.

Accountabilities :

• Responsible for on time delivery from receipt of project requirement, preparing RFQ, Inviting bids
• Negotiation, vendor selection, ordering and preparation of turnkey projects

Competency Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of  MS Excel, Power Point
• Well versed with SAP MM Module
• Excellent Communication skills  

Education Requirements : Bachelor of Engineering / Technology plus MBA
