Sr DevOps Engineer(SRE)

Responsibilities: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations engineers to design, build, and maintain a scalable and highly available infrastructure for Foundation AOSP projects. • • Manage and optimize our DevOps toolchain, including Gerrit, Jenkins, Buildkite, and AWS services. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for Foundation AOSP projects. • • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build failures, test failures, and deployment failures in a timely manner. • Monitor system performance and availability, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for improvement. • Implement and maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with development teams to improve build and release processes, and provide guidance on integrating DevOps best practices. • • Continuously evaluate and research new technologies and tools to enhance our DevOps infrastructure and processes. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or a related role. • Experience with build systems and version control tools (e.g., Git). • Proficiency in managing and maintaining DevOps toolchain, including Gerrit, Jenkins, Buildkite, and AWS services. • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar). • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis. • Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing and maintaining security measures. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities.
