Key Activities:

• Design and establish manufacturing/assembly processes for Filtration product manufacturing, including equipment and Jigs/fixtures selection.
• Design and manufacture SPM/Jigs and Fixtures through outside vendors using Low cost automation and electronic controls.
• Quality planning and Documentation of manufacturing/assembly processes (PFD/FMEA/Control plan/WI SOP).
• Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies of new or modified products.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are reliable and capable through PPAP and understanding of process capability (Cpk).
• Utilize VSM methodology for productivity improvement.
• Lead new product development as per Q/C/D requirements.
• Benchmark filter manufacturing processes worldwide for current and new projects.

Knowledge:

• Proficiency in process design, feasibility of product manufacturing, machine and accessory selection, and low-cost automation.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 6 Sigma, Kaizen.
• Experience with manufacturing processes of sheet metal components and welding processes.
• Skills in tools & fixture designing, 2D/3D design software, understanding low-cost automation, PLC, sensors, and line balancing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and project management for NPD tasks.
